Our first big project was a restaurant, and food and beverage has been the heart of the studio ever since. We design and build cafes, restaurants and lounges that look good on day one and still work on a busy Friday night.

Villa Mamas mixes cuisines, so the room mixes periods. Fresh is a healthy cafe, so the planting does the talking. We start from what you serve and who you serve it to.

Covers, table mix, service routes and the walk from door to counter. We plan the floor so the room looks generous and the numbers still work.

Custom counters, shelving and display built to your brand and your equipment, then made and installed by our team.

When should I bring in an interior designer for a new cafe?
As early as you can, ideally before you sign the lease. The shape of the unit, the frontage and where services come in all affect what the space can become and what it costs to fit out.
